I'm using Linux Mint and can't utilize Rufus. I've decided to download a fresh copy of Linux Mint since my current version is giving me a lot of trouble. I don't need to back up any important files, so I'm okay with starting from scratch, but I've heard that Balena Etcher might not be trustworthy. Can anyone recommend a reliable method for creating a bootable USB? Also, if possible, could you include a YouTube video that shows how to do this? Thanks in advance!

The built-in tools in Linux Mint work well too! You can right-click the .iso file in the file manager and create a bootable USB from there—super straightforward! No extra downloads needed.
Another option is to use Fedora Media Writer. It's reliable and straightforward for creating bootable USB drives.
You can also use Ventoy, which is easy to get from Flatpak or your repository. Just select your thumb drive in the app, and it'll format it for you. Then, you can download any .iso you want (like Windows, Mint, Pop OS, etc.) and copy them to your drive. When you boot up, you'll select which .iso to use from a menu. Check out this video on using Ventoy on both Windows and Linux: [here](https://youtu.be/-7APoZzNPyU?si=Wt6Rh9tTXASUK9AM). I haven't had any issues with Balena Etcher either if you're open to it!
I suggest using Ventoy to make your bootable USB. Download the Linux Mint .iso via a torrent link, then ensure you force a recheck before copying the .iso directly onto the USB. This way, you can also boot and test it live!
