I'm new to Linux and currently using Pop!_OS. I recently discovered Garuda Linux and it looks great! I'm considering making the switch, but I'd love to hear from more experienced users. What do you think—should I switch to Garuda? If so, what are the best things I should focus on learning first?

Garuda has its strengths! The setup assistant is really helpful for choosing what to install, plus having snapper preconfigured can save you from some system breakages. But remember, it's still based on Arch, so you might run into some manual maintenance hiccups. They do try to make it easier with their `garuda-update` tool, but it’s not completely hassle-free. If you're looking for a more reliable and straightforward experience, you might want to give vanilla Arch or EndeavorOS a shot. Garuda feels a bit like a middle ground—beginner-friendly yet still very much Arch.

Totally agree! When I tried Garuda, I found it a bit bloated with pre-installed stuff. Arch or EndeavorOS seem to be better options. I've also heard good things about CachyOS from friends in the Arch community.
