Is Someone Mining on My PC?

I've been experiencing some serious slowdowns on my PC after I installed Yandere Simulator along with a translation patch and the Pose Mod. My CPU usage has spiked above 60%, and there are times when the screen just goes black during startup. Additionally, games are lagging and not loading properly; it definitely wasn't like this before. I also found a suspicious file named explorerr.exe (with two 'R's) on my computer. I've tried various fixes, but nothing seems to help. Does anyone have suggestions for troubleshooting or fixing this?

Honestly, it sounds like you might be dealing with some malware. My best advice is to nuke everything and start fresh. You should back up your important files and do a clean install of Windows instead of just resetting.

Right? Starting over seems like the safest bet!

Stop downloading random stuff from sketchy sites! It's better to be safe than sorry, so just start over. Your PC will thank you.

Yup, if you've found a shady file and your system’s running this slowly, it's likely something's gone wrong. Definitely do a clean install! You can use a flash drive to reinstall Windows completely.
