How Can I Recover Files from My Samsung A52 with a Broken Screen?

I recently cracked the screen on my Samsung A52, but I believe the phone itself is still functioning properly. I really need to recover some files from it, including important photos and projects. I have access to a PC and I know my unlock pattern, but I might struggle to unlock the phone because of the broken display. Is there any way I can transfer those files to another device?

If the phone is still working, start by plugging it into your PC. It’s possible that only the display is damaged and that the touch functionality still works. Try entering your unlock pattern and tapping where the 'accept' button would be, since the phone might ask if you want to allow device access once it's connected. You might get lucky and it'll recognize your phone when it's unlocked!

This happens quite often! Generally, to access files on a broken phone, you usually need to have mirroring or remote access set up beforehand. If that wasn’t already configured, it could be tricky since it leaves room for potential theft. If the screen won't let you navigate, then accessing files might be tough. If the data is valuable, it might be best to consider replacing the screen to retrieve everything. If you have anything backed up on the cloud or an SD card, those will be easier to recover without the phone.

It's not super critical, just some meaningful pictures and projects I want to get back.
