Why isn’t Azure Update Manager detecting updates for my ARC-enabled servers?

I'm having issues with Azure Update Manager (AUM). It shows 'No Pending Updates' for all my ARC-enabled servers. However, when I log into any of these servers and manually check for updates, they do find the latest monthly cumulative updates. All the status indicators in AUM show that the servers are connected, so I'm puzzled why it can't see the updates they require. Can anyone help clarify this?

You don’t need to remove the SCCM client. Instead, create a new Device Collection for the AUM devices. Then, set up new client settings to turn off the Software Updates schedules and apply those to your AUM device collection. Also, ensure these clients know where to get updates—whether from WSUS or directly from Microsoft updates. You can set this using a GPO or via registry changes and PowerShell. If you're using WSUS, create a new computer group for the AUM devices and set it to auto-approve the updates you want.

Awesome, thank you for the guidance!

Have you tried running a check for updates directly from Azure? Also, make sure that periodic assessment is enabled, as that might impact whether updates are detected.

Yes, I've done both of those steps, but it keeps showing no pending updates.
