Hey everyone! I'm new to the Linux world and currently trying out Ubuntu for the past few days. I'm looking for recommendations on Linux distributions that are customizable because I really enjoy aesthetics. I mainly do some programming and other tasks. Any suggestions?

Linux Mint is another option for you. It uses the Cinnamon desktop environment, which offers great customization options. Try it out for a week to see how you like it!

If you like a macOS vibe, go for a Gnome desktop environment. But if you're after a Windows-like experience, KDE or Linux Mint are fantastic choices. You can check them out via live booting on a USB to see what fits your style best!

Totally agree! Gnome gives that sleek look, while Mint is more traditional. There's a lot you can do with customizations too.

Have you considered trying Kubuntu? It's basically Ubuntu with the KDE desktop, which is known for being user-friendly and highly customizable. A lot of people enjoy it for its aesthetic flexibility!

Kubuntu is a solid choice! Both Kubuntu and Fedora with KDE are super user-friendly and look great.

I agree, Kubuntu KDE is really nice!

Most distributions are customizable, but if you're looking for easy tweaks, KDE environments are generally the way to go. You might want to check out Fedora, openSUSE, or even Debian.

Remember, customizing visually is all about the desktop environment, so you can swap those out regardless of the distro. Just find one you vibe with!
