I'm curious if anyone has experience with benchmarking performance improvements when extracting JAR files for a server application, specifically if we're dealing with something around 100 MB in size. What have you found, if anything?

If you're really concerned about this, you might want to check out GraalVM or the new AOT cache in Java 25. They could provide better results without having to dig into jar extraction.

Right, but what about before Java 24? Leyden AOT makes this a bit outdated as long as your training run loads everything initially.
