I just got my new LG QHD IPS 27U631A-B monitor, which has a refresh rate of 100Hz. However, when I set the resolution to 1440p, it only runs at 60Hz. The moment I switch to 100Hz, the resolution unexpectedly changes to 800x600. My setup includes an Acer Intel Arc B580 GPU with up-to-date drivers, a Ryzen 7 7700 CPU, and 64GB of RAM, with four out of five monitors connected, including two 1080p monitors plugged into the motherboard's display ports. Has anyone experienced this issue or have any suggestions?

Wow, 800x600 is a blast from the past! Try disconnecting all other monitors except the LG and connect it directly to your GPU. If it works at 1440p and 100Hz, then the issue likely isn't with the monitor itself.
It sounds like a driver or connection issue, buddy. Make sure your GPU drivers are properly installed and that the monitor is directly connected to the GPU, rather than the motherboard. Also, have you tried switching back to 1440p in the display settings after selecting 100Hz? Maybe that will help.
Yes, I'm totally sure about the drivers and connection. I can select 1440p, but it reverts to 60Hz immediately.

I did that already. No luck. I even reinstalled the Intel drivers and checked the User Manual—it's supposed to support 2560x1440 at 100Hz. I suspect it could be my DP to HDMI cable; it’s new and rated for 4K, but not sure if it handles 1440p at 100Hz.
