Hey everyone! A few days ago, I had an issue where my computer wouldn't start after it shut down while I was gaming. After trying a bunch of things, I figured out that the problem was my graphics card. When I removed the faulty GPU, my computer booted up just fine. I plugged in one of my older GPUs into the same PCI slot, and it worked perfectly. Now I'm wondering if I can repair the faulty GPU or if I should just buy a new one.
Here's a picture of the faulty GPU: [link](https://imgur.com/a/i9hzyau).
My current specs are: Intel i5-9600k, Prime z390-a motherboard, 16GB DDR4 RAM, the faulty GTX 1070, and a Corsair CX550M power supply. I'm considering getting an RTX 5060 Ti 8GB and upgrading my power supply to a CX750. I can't afford to upgrade my CPU and motherboard right now, but that's something I might tackle later. Any suggestions?

Honestly, an 8GB card might not last as long as one with 16GB. If your budget allows, check out the B580 or the 9060 XT. The RTX 5060 Ti is a solid choice too! Just keep in mind, with your Gen 9 setup, you won’t get the best performance possible. You might want to grab a used card that’s better than the 1070 for now, and save a newer card for when you upgrade next.
Have you thought about the 9060 XT 16GB? It's usually around the same price as the 8GB RTX 5060 Ti. That extra memory can really help future-proof your build!
I’ve never owned an AMD GPU before. Are they really as good as everyone says?
Even something like a 1080 Ti could start bottlenecking with your CPU. You’ll want to weigh your options to avoid running into issues.
What does it mean when the GPU is bottlenecked by the CPU? If I upgrade to the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, will it perform better than my GTX 1070?
What’s a good price for an RTX 5060 Ti 16GB?
