I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card from a 2080 Ti because I've been experiencing various issues, including overheating and fan control problems. My budget is around €700, and I'm hoping to find a card that significantly outperforms my current GPU, rather than just a slight improvement. I find it quite confusing to navigate through the available options, especially since the release of the 30 series. I primarily use my PC for gaming, with occasional 3D modeling and Unreal Engine work. I currently have a Ryzen CPU, but I'm considering an AMD CPU upgrade soon to prevent bottlenecking in the future.

For around €700, I'd recommend looking at the Radeon RX 9070. It would be a significant performance boost over your 2080 Ti.
You should seriously consider the RX 9070 or 9070XT, and if you can stretch the budget a little, a RTX 5070Ti is another great option. Those are really the top cards in your price range.
You might find a 5070 as a decent choice based on price and availability. The 5060 Ti is marginally better but won't make a huge difference. If you're open to used cards, you might score a mid-high 30 series. However, with AMD cards, you may need to do some cleanup and tweaks, but you could snag a 9070 if they’re restocked soon.
I'd advise against the 5070 right now. Hold off for a month or two and see if prices stabilize; they’ve been quite high lately.
Your upgrade options depend a bit on your current setup. If your CPU isn’t that strong, it might limit your choices a bit.
Where can you find a 9070?
