Is this a good upgrade plan for my wife’s PC from Windows 7?

I'm looking to upgrade my wife's computer, which currently runs on Windows 7 Pro. We're both in our mid-60s and live on a fixed income, so I want to avoid starting from scratch if possible. Her computer usage includes email, Facebook, YouTube, and a few web-based farm games. The system specs are as follows: an A8-9600 CPU with the original cooler, 32GB DDR4 memory, a 512GB Seagate SATA drive, and a dual monitor setup using integrated graphics. For the upgrades, I'm considering a R5-5500GT graphics card, a 1TB Silicon Power UD40 PCIe 4.0 SSD, and a Windows 11 Home DVD. Do you think this setup will be sufficient for a couple more years, given her usage?

Honestly, I think you should consider starting from scratch instead. There are some really capable and budget-friendly mini PCs available. For instance, you could get a Beelink mini PC, which would handle everything your wife uses it for pretty well. Here's a good option you might like: [Amazon Link]. They’re small and pretty efficient!

The issue is, my wife wants to keep using the 3.5" drive and the optical drive. If we were starting fresh, I’d agree with going for a Beelink.
