I'm building a new PC and I have a set of Patriot Viper Venom RAM at 7200MHz (model: pvvr532g720c34k). My EXPO profile options include 7200MHz, 7000MHz, and 6800MHz. I've heard that the AM5 7000 series might have a connection to 6000MHz, and going above that could mess with some timing between the controller and RAM, potentially reducing performance. So, I'm wondering how I can set my RAM speed to 6000MHz. Is it as simple as changing the speed in the BIOS to 6000 and leaving the timings and voltage on auto? Or is there more to it? I'm pairing this RAM with a Ryzen 5 7500F and a Gigabyte B850M Force motherboard.

For manual RAM tweaking, just dive into some guides on YouTube! There’s a ton of resources available. However, just a heads up, you might not actually be overclocking per se if you're dialing it down to 6000MHz from higher profiles, so you're on the right path.
If you're using an MSI motherboard, there's a feature that can automatically set your RAM to 6000MHz CL30. If that's not the case, I recommend checking out Bullzoid's timings on YouTube; he has a great video specifically about setting RAM to 6000MHz CL30.
