Hey everyone! I've done a lot of research on my PC build and would love your feedback. I want to play Cyberpunk in 1080p with good frame rates, so I aimed for a compact Mini ITX setup. Here's my current list of parts:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 8400F 4.2 GHz
- Cooler: Noctua NH-L12Sx77
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B650I AX
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB DDR5-6400
- Storage: Samsung 990 EVO Plus 1 TB SSD
- GPU: Zotac GAMING SOLO GeForce RTX 5060
- Case: Teenage Engineering Computer 1
- Power Supply: SeaSonic FOCUS SGX 750W
- Case Fan: Noctua A8 PWM

Total cost is around $1287.60. Are there any glaring issues or suggestions to improve? Thanks for your help! 🙂

Just curious, why spend $80 on a CPU cooler? Is that really necessary?

Because I’m a biased Austrian who loves Noctua! They’re reliable and perform well, and I trust their quality.

I’d recommend checking out the Austrian PCPartPicker for more accurate prices. You might want to consider upgrading to a 7500F, which is slightly more expensive but offers better performance. Also, the motherboard you’ve picked only has one M.2 slot. The ASRock B650i Lightning would give you more expansion options for about the same price.

As for the RAM, look for something around 6000 MHz for better stability. And that Noctua fan seems pricey! There are more budget-friendly options that perform just as well. What's your total budget including the GPU?

Thanks for the suggestions! My budget is around €1000, not including the case I got as a gift. I’m also thinking about the ASRock Phantom Gaming B850I Lightning WiFi for its additional M.2 slot.

You might have issues fitting decent GPUs in that case. I shared an improved list that would suit a better ATX build. If you sell your case, you can potentially save money and upgrade your performance significantly.

Can you share that improved build? I’d love to see it since I’m struggling with case clearance!

Consider switching to a 7600X CPU and a 9060 XT GPU. This way, you could save a good amount on the RAM by going with 6000 MHz CL30 since the memory controller might struggle with 6400 MHz.

OH GOD MY EYES! Just joking around, but if you switch the case for one with better GPU clearance, I think you’ll be much better off. Check my suggested list for some ideas!
