I'm planning to build a new PC and I really need a CPU with a maximum power consumption of 65W to keep the heat levels down. I've been hearing a lot about the Ryzen 7600x3d as a great option. Is that still the best choice available? I've also heard rumors about an upcoming 9600x3d; would it be smart to wait for that release? Another thought I had was using Eco Mode on higher-end CPUs, like the 9800x3d, to bring it down to 65W. Would that be a better solution? Additionally, I'm curious if Intel has any competitive options in this wattage range. Any advice would be really appreciated!

You're spot on about the 7600x3d being the top 65W CPU for gaming right now. There are whispers about the 9600x3d coming out, but honestly, with the small performance gains between Zen 4 and Zen 5, I don't think it's worth the wait.
Thanks for confirming! What are your thoughts on using a 9800x3d in Eco Mode at 65W?
