Hey everyone! I'm trying to decide on a new GPU for my AM4 setup since I can't move to AM5 yet. My current build is solid, but the graphics card is the last piece I'm looking to upgrade. I game on a 3440x1440 monitor, and I want to make it clear that I'm not interested in AMD GPUs since they haven't met my needs in the past. I'm more of an Nvidia fan and would love your recommendations on which RTX card to go for in 2025. Here's what I've got:
- Motherboard: MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI
- CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X3D
- Current GPU: RTX 3060 12GB OC
- RAM: 64 GB 3600MHz CL18

Your CPU can handle just about any GPU you throw at it. For 1440p, I recommend the 5070 Ti for the best value, especially since you're not considering AMD. Just a heads up, make sure your PSU is up to the task!
The 3060 is still quite strong! If you can wait a little longer, consider holding out for the Super versions. Waiting is free!
I'd suggest you look into GPUs up to the 5080. The 5070 Ti offers great value and only has a slight performance dip compared to the higher-end models.
I had a similar setup with a 3060 Ti and upgraded to a 4070 Super. The performance boost was amazing! What’s your budget looking like for this upgrade?
