Are Gigabyte and ASRock Motherboards Worth Considering?

I'm gearing up to build my first PC, but I'm really struggling to choose a motherboard. Right now, I'm leaning towards the B850 Aorus Elite WiFi 7, but I've stumbled on a mix of reviews. I've also noticed that ASRock motherboards are quite affordable. Am I overthinking this? Will either of these motherboards work well for me, or should I be looking at other options around the $190 price point? Specifically, could I run into any issues with the Aorus WiFi 7 or any of the ASRock models? Just a heads up, my setup will be using a Ryzen 5 9600X, a Radeon 9600 XT, and 32GB of DDR5 in an ATX mid tower. Thanks for any insights!

Honestly, I'd suggest going for a solid B650 motherboard instead. They're pretty budget-friendly and still offer good performance.

I'm leaning towards the B850 for the future-proofing, plus they're almost the same price.

There are some reports about ASRock boards having issues, especially with Ryzen 9000 series CPUs. But keep in mind that negative reviews tend to get more attention. Most people probably aren’t posting about a motherboard that runs perfectly!

So, it sounds like I might be okay with most motherboards then?

Check out MSI motherboards! I’m a bit of a fan, but I've used them in several gaming builds, and I've never had a problem with them.
