Should I replace my new PSU if my PC won’t stay on?

My PC is struggling to stay on after upgrading to a new 850W Corsair RM850e PSU. I've been using an i7 11700K with a 4070 Ti Super and a 600W be quiet! PSU for a year without any issues until recently, when I started experiencing crashes under heavy loads. I decided it was time to upgrade the PSU, but after installing the new one, my PC began cycling on and off immediately. I tried minimal setups with just the motherboard and CPU, which allowed me to boot into Windows for a short period, but it shut down again. When I switched back to my old PSU, everything worked just fine. I've checked cable connections multiple times and even tested on different power outlets, but I'm stumped. My suspicion is that the new PSU might be faulty, but I'm hesitant to go through the hassle of replacement if it turns out to be fine. Anyone have thoughts on what might be wrong?

I've seen similar issues with new power supplies, so it’s worth checking if all your cables are securely connected, especially the motherboard cable. Sometimes they can feel connected but aren’t fully seated. You might want to try reseating them. Also, I recommend reaching out to Corsair's support; they’re known for being really helpful and might give you some insight into this problem!

I'll double-check everything again. Did your PC turn on at all before you reseated the cables?
