I have a bit of a silly question but want to make sure everything is compatible. Currently, I'm using an i5 12600KF processor with an Asus TUF H670 Pro D4 motherboard, and my installed power supply (PSU) is an EVGA SuperNova 750GA. I'm planning to buy a new PSU, the MSI MPG A1000GS. I noticed that the CPU connectors on the MSI PSU look different, with the square pins positioned at the top, while on the EVGA PSU, they're at the bottom. Can I use the MSI MPG A1000GS with my existing setup without changing my motherboard or CPU? Thanks!

Your power supply doesn’t care about what CPU you have, and vice versa. Essentially, they're just different labels—the connectors being flipped upside down is no big deal as long as you have the right cables.
Yes, it should work! Different PSU manufacturers might have unique layouts on the power supply side, but the motherboard connections are pretty standard. Just be aware that you'll need to swap out all the cables for the new PSU when you make the switch.
Thank you!
Absolutely! The ATX connections have been standardized since 1995, so as long as you’re using the right cables, you should be all set.
Thank you so much!

Thanks, that explains a lot!
