How do I get a domain like store.x.com?

I'm new to this whole domain thing. I've been trying to find a way to register a domain ending with something like store.x.com, but the domain search tools I've used keep removing the dot between 'store' and 'x' (where 'x' represents anything). Is there a safe way to get a domain with that kind of structure, ideally without using 'www'?

When you're buying a domain, you're actually getting the primary domain, like x.com. After that, you can create subdomains for free. So, once you have x.com, you can set up store.x.com as a subdomain without any issue.

Yeah, that's a subdomain! After you secure your main domain, you can add subdomains. The process depends on your domain registrar, but it's generally straightforward.

You're looking to buy the x.com part since that's the main domain. Once you own it, you can create as many subdomains as you want, including store.x.com. This is usually done through your hosting provider or by adjusting your DNS settings.

To get started, buy your domain (like x.com), then decide on a hosting provider. You'll set up your main domain, and from there, you can create a subdomain like store.x.com. Just follow the instructions your registrar gives you to connect it to your website!
