How Can I Delete Search History on My iPhone XS Max with Content Restrictions?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on how to delete the search history on my iPhone XS Max. I lent my phone to a friend for a few days, and they did some things that I'm not cool with. Plus, this phone used to belong to my older sister, so it has some content restrictions set up that I can't turn off. If anyone has tips on how to get around this and delete the history, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

You can definitely Google how to delete iPhone search history, but a quick tip: since your sister's phone isn't completely reset, that could be causing some issues. If you try to clear history in Safari, just go to Settings > Safari and look for the option to clear history and website data. Just know that if there are content restrictions on, it might complicate things a little. Good luck!

Thanks, that advice really helped! I appreciate it and yeah, I'm trying to figure out the basics since I'm new to iPhone. I came from Samsung, so it's a learning curve!

It sounds like the restrictions on your sister’s phone are still active. If you can't turn off the restrictions, just focus on clearing the Safari history through the settings. However, be careful about letting someone borrow your device when it's loaded with personal stuff. Maybe next time, keep an eye on your phone!
