Accidentally Charged $200 for App Store Subscriptions – Can I Get That Money Back?

I messed up and ended up getting charged around $200 for six App Store subscriptions because I forgot to cancel the free trials. I've already canceled all the subscriptions, but I'm stressed about this charge since I need it urgently for rent. I submitted a refund request through Apple's Report a Problem site, but the refund is still pending and they say it can take 5-8 business days. I've had refund success before for this kind of mistake, but I'm worried Apple might think I'm abusing the system since I've accidentally refunded a couple before. Has anyone else managed to get a refund for multiple accidental subscriptions like this? What are my chances of getting approved, and is there anything I can do to speed things up?

Take this as a valuable lesson. Always double-check those trial subscriptions before they turn into charges. It's a tough spot, but it’s a common mistake.

True, I guess everyone needs to learn about these sneaky subscriptions at some point.

Honestly, how do you forget about six subscriptions? Sounds like a rough lesson learned! Just be more mindful next time and really keep track of those trials!

Lol, I can relate! I was about to cancel mine, but somehow it slipped my mind too!

I feel you! I had a similar issue before, but I think you might be pushing it with six subscriptions. Generally, 2-3 is considered reasonable for refunds. Just make sure this isn’t a regular thing for you; they might view it as exploitation if it is. Good luck, though!

Yeah, I get that. I called and explained my situation last time and it worked out well!
