Which Static Site Generator Should I Choose for My Blog: Eleventy or Bash Static Site Generator?

Hey everyone! I'm new to using static site generators and I've decided to create a personal blog to teach myself. I was initially planning to go with Eleventy (11ty), but I recently discovered the Bash Static Site Generator and I'm curious if anyone has experience with it. I think it could help me improve my Bash scripting skills, so I'd love to hear your thoughts on both options!

BSSG sounds intriguing! I usually go for Jekyll, especially with GitHub Pages. If you need to add a comments section later, you could look into Teemboom Comments. It integrates nicely!

For starting with 11ty, I usually grab the CodeStitch Intermediate LESS kit. It's helpful for beginners! Here's the link if you're interested: [Intermediate Website Kit - LESS](https://github.com/CodeStitchOfficial/Intermediate-Website-Kit-LESS)

I've been using HexoJS for a while now - it’s pretty good if you're looking to try something different. Just a thought!

I've been using Hugo for years now, and it's been fantastic for my static site needs. Definitely worth considering!

Astro is another great option for static sites if you're looking to explore beyond Eleventy and BSSG. It might be worth checking out!
