Hi all! I'm currently working on wedding invitations and want to include a QR code that links directly to the Google Maps location of the venue for our event on December 18, 2025. I'm looking for a QR code generator that won't expire and can handle unlimited scans. Has anyone tried QR Code Monkey? Is it reliable, or do you have any better free generator recommendations? Thanks in advance!

Check out Adobe's QR code generator. It doesn’t redirect to ad sites, and it says the QR code won’t expire. Plus, you can customize the design, which might give your invites a personal touch! Here's the link: https://www.adobe.com/express/feature/image/qr-code-generator
Great discussions here! Remember, not all QR codes generated directly link to the actual URL. Some use a service that tracks links and can expire, so it's best to pick a tool that generates a direct QR code from your URL.
You can use the built-in QR code generator in browsers like Edge or Chrome. It’s super easy and convenient! Just visit the location on Google Maps and generate the QR code directly.
Sounds simple enough! I'll give that a try.
If you're not tracking invites, I recommend just using a simple QR code tool where you can paste the Google Maps link and download the image. That way, you’re not tied to any service that could expire. Try this one: https://iptools.net.au/qr.
QR Code Monkey works well if you don't enable statistics or editability options. Their event tab lets you set a date and time, which is great for saving details to calendars along with the location.

That makes sense! I'll make sure to find a straightforward generator.
