I developed a web and mobile app for a friend's local radio station to help him out and to learn more about app development. The app includes a live radio stream via Icecast, a section for saving livestreams, artist pages, user accounts for favoriting shows, an editorial blog, and a complete admin dashboard. It's built using React, Vue, Supabase, and Icecast, and everything is functioning well. Since it was a learning experience but also a significant project, I'm unsure how much to charge him. He suggested around 500 euros, but I think that's too low considering the work involved. I want to be fair and not overcharge, but I also don't want to sell myself short. Any advice would be appreciated!

I think you should charge around 1,000 euros. It’s a fair price for a project like this, especially considering the amount of work put into it. Just be upfront about what the maintenance support looks like, so there are no surprises later on.
Honestly, if it's your friend, taking the 500 could work as long as you’re clear that at that rate, maintenance won’t be included. Plus, if you decide to sell it elsewhere, there won’t be any hard feelings.
500 euros is definitely a lowball offer for what you’ve built. I've seen similar projects go for anywhere from 3,000 to 5,000 euros based on the features and the development time involved. Since you’re also considering selling it to other radio stations, maybe think about a revenue share model with your friend. That way, you both benefit!
You could also consider white labeling it for more radio stations, as you mentioned earlier!
What platform would you recommend for selling this kind of app? I'm only familiar with Fiverr, and I’ve had a bad experience there.
