I recently ordered a Seasonic Core GX-750 power supply and, after plugging it in, it was completely dead. I tested it to confirm it wasn't working and returned it. A few days later, I received a replacement but, to my disappointment, it was also dead right out of the box. Am I just really unlucky or could there be another issue at play here?

Have you checked your outlets? Make sure they're grounded and supplying the right voltage. It’s possible that the issue could be with the power source rather than just bad luck.
I actually tested two different outlets and both didn't work, so I don't think that's the problem.
