I'm looking to build a gaming rig and I want to use the ASRock B760M-HDV/M.2 with an Intel 14600K. I'm not planning on overclocking or anything fancy, just regular gaming. Given that I'm on a tight budget, can anyone tell me if this motherboard is sufficient for the CPU?

Good news: the ASRock support page confirms that the 14600K is supported with the original BIOS, so from that standpoint, you should be fine. Just keep in mind the overall performance might not be top-tier because of the motherboard’s limitations when under load.
It's a bit unusual to pair the 14600K with that motherboard if you don't have it yet. If you're trying to keep costs down, better to consider whether the motherboard's VRM setup is good enough for what you need.
Honestly, the VRM quality is key for stability, especially for gaming. Just make sure you check the specs before committing.

Yeah, that's true. Just ensure your power requirements are met, and you should have a decent gaming experience without any major hiccups!
