I've used a 1080p monitor for years and recently upgraded to an RTX 5070 Ti. I'd like to move up to 1440p for gaming, ideally with a high refresh rate, but I'm hoping to keep the budget around $350 USD. What monitors would you recommend at that price, and is 1440p the best choice for this graphics card?

A 27-inch 1440p monitor with a high refresh rate is the usual sweet spot for gaming. OLED models with 240Hz can sometimes get close to $350 during sales, but you’ll probably need to watch prices carefully. At this budget, a good IPS display with 165–180Hz may offer better value and be easier to find.
I picked up an Acer Predator X27U for about $349 at Micro Center and have been very happy with it. It’s an OLED panel with a high refresh rate, so it was one of the best deals I found in that range. That said, an RTX 5070 Ti is also capable of 4K gaming, so you might consider saving longer for a 4K OLED display around $600 if you want to make the most of the card.
