Hey everyone! I built my first PC back in February 2020 and I'm finally thinking about upgrading. I'm specifically wondering if I can just swap out my GPU for a better one and keep the rest of my components, or if everything else is outdated and should be replaced too. Here's what I currently have:
- Motherboard: ASUS TUF GAMING X570-PLUS
- CPU: AMD RYZEN 5 3600
- GPU: EVGA RTX2060 SUPER
- RAM: G.SKILL Trident DDR4 64GB (2x32GB)
Thanks for any insights!

I recommend starting with a GPU upgrade! Test the performance after that and see if it's what you want. If it's not enough, you can always invest in a more extensive rebuild later.
First off, what resolution are you gaming at? That can really impact your decision. If you're playing in 1080p, upgrading the GPU could definitely give you a nice boost!
I'm at 1080p, using a 55-inch TV for gaming and a second monitor just for Discord and anime.
You can definitely stick with your AM4 setup for now, but it depends on your budget. If you're looking to spend more, switching to AM5 could be a good investment for future upgrades.

What would you suggest I upgrade to? I’m pretty lost when it comes to what’s good these days!
