Hey everyone! I've been struggling with low storage on my C drive for a while now. After deleting temp files and moving things to another drive, I'm still at 99% capacity, which is frustrating. Recently, I found a program that tells me what's taking up the most space, and I discovered twelve files called "chrome_unpacker_beginUnzipping" in my Program Files folder, each about 400MB. When I tried deleting them, I got a warning that they are system files and might impact my computer's performance. I really need to free up space, so I'm wondering if it's safe to delete these files or not?

Honestly, if you’re getting a warning that these files are important system files, that's a big red flag. It's usually best to avoid deleting anything that could potentially affect your system's stability. Instead, think about uninstalling any programs you don’t use or moving large personal files like music or videos to a different drive. That might help free up some space without risking system issues.

Yeah, I totally agree. Those warnings exist for a reason! Just focus on keeping your essential files backed up and clear out anything non-essential.

Exactly! Backup your important stuff first, then look for other files that you can delete or move. You don’t want to mess with system stability!
