How can I upgrade to Windows 11 without WiFi on my new PC?

I recently got my first PC from my cousin, and it came with Windows 10. Unfortunately, he forgot to mention that there's no WiFi chip installed. To make matters worse, I accidentally purchased a WiFi card that only supports Windows 11, and I can't return it since I lost the receipt. I do have a Windows laptop, so I'm wondering if there's a way to use it to upgrade my PC to Windows 11 without needing WiFi.

To upgrade your PC to Windows 11, you can use your laptop to create a bootable USB drive. First, download the Windows 11 ISO and Rufus on your laptop. Plug in an 8GB or larger flash drive, open Rufus, select the flash drive, and then choose the Windows 11 ISO under boot selection. Ensure the file system is set to NTFS and click 'Start.' After it's done, plug the USB into your PC, enter the BIOS, set it to boot from the USB, and follow the on-screen instructions to upgrade.

Congrats on your first PC! Just double-checking, are you sure the WiFi card doesn't have any Windows 10 drivers? They’re often similar, and it might just work. If not, the method mentioned above to create a bootable USB is solid. Just remember, it will wipe your USB drive, so back up any important files beforehand. You can find the Media Creation Tool on Microsoft's official website, which is super handy for this.

Thank you! Yes, the packaging definitely says it's only for Windows 11. I guess I should've looked more closely before buying.
