Hey everyone! I'm planning to completely upgrade my PC and I'm not sure whether to keep some of my existing components or just go for a full rebuild. Here's my current setup:
- **Processor**: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X Six-Core Processor 3.60 GHz
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermaltake ContacSilent
- **RAM**: Ballistix DDR4-2666 16.0 GB (2x8GB)
- **Motherboard**: ASUS Prime X370-Pro
- **SSD**: 224 GB Kingston SSD
- **HDD**: 932 GB
- **GPU**: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
- **Case**: Corsair Crystal Series 460X
- **Case Cooler**: Corsair SP120 RGB
I'm looking to upgrade to a Ryzen 7 9800 and a 5070 Ti or something similar to handle top-tier games and ensure my setup lasts a while. Any suggestions or feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I'd recommend building a new machine without a doubt. You might be able to keep the case and the SSD, but it's almost not worth it for the savings you get. Plus, you're likely going to need a larger SSD for modern games.
Honestly, I think it's time to start fresh. Most of your current parts don't have much value anymore, and even the case isn't the best choice due to the glass front panel. If I were you, I'd sell the whole setup and go for a new build altogether.
