Hey everyone,
I really need your help. I accidentally clicked on some sketchy links and ended up getting my Discord account hacked, which sent scam messages to my contacts. I managed to recover the account, but then I installed Malwarebytes and found about 25 threats, which I removed. However, things escalated when I got an email about suspicious activity on my Gmail, and then I noticed my other accounts were compromised as well.
It looks like the hacker might still have access because Malwarebytes keeps alerting me about a suspicious file in my PUBG Mobile emulator folder that's trying to connect to a bad IP. I've deleted that folder, but I'm still feeling really uneasy about the whole situation.
My Epic Games accounts are compromised, and I can't change the email for 90 days after the hacker changed it. I need serious advice—how can I ensure that this person is completely out of my system? Should I reset Windows, or do I need a full wipe of my PC? I'm worried because current virus scans aren't showing anything, but I don't know what else might be infected. Any help would be hugely appreciated as I'm feeling pretty desperate right now.

Honestly, I think a clean install is your best option. Given your situation with malware and the hacker's access, just doing a standard reset may not be enough. You need to completely wipe your drive and reinstall Windows to be 100% sure everything is gone.

Could you clarify? Do you mean I should wipe everything or just the Windows drive?
