I'm curious about the job market trends in Sweden, particularly regarding cloud platform recruiters. From my experience, I have a GCP certification listed on my LinkedIn, which might explain why I'm contacted about GCP roles. However, I've received over 100 inquiries regarding Azure jobs but haven't been approached for any AWS positions. I previously worked at a consulting firm where half of our business revolved around GCP and the other half around Azure, but we didn't touch AWS at all. I'm wondering if there's a notable difference in how AWS collaborates with consulting firms compared to Azure and GCP.

I think there might be differences in partnership programs, but a big factor could be the types of customers each platform attracts. In Sweden, many AWS clients are product companies, and they usually focus more on broader skills rather than specific tech expertise. If you want to work with AWS, showcasing your problem-solving and people skills is key. Perhaps creating a portfolio could also help you stand out.

I wasn’t necessarily looking for a job, just trying to understand the AWS versus Azure situation. Is it because tech-heavy companies prefer AWS, while others just opt for Microsoft 365 and hire consultants?
