Are Printers Acting Up on Windows 11?

I've been having a frustrating experience with printers on Windows 11. When I remote into a Windows Server 2016 and try to access a shared thermal printer via \\usbpc\, everything works fine. However, on any of my Windows 11 24H2 PCs, I get a login prompt that just doesn't accept any credentials I try, whether they're local or domain. I've spent hours troubleshooting but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else run into this issue? Note that I won't be enabling WPP.

It sounds like you're running into compatibility issues with Windows 11 and older hardware. Starting from Windows 26100+, legacy devices might not be fully supported, which could be causing your printer access problems.
