Help! My Computer Has Gone Back in Time!

I turned on my PC today to play CS, but it got stuck and I had to restart it. After the restart, my computer seemed to have reset itself to how it was three years ago! All my files, programs, and even my wallpaper look exactly like they did back then. My date and time are correct as of today, October 27, yet I can't find any of my recent documents or the CS app. I've tried restarting several times but nothing changes. What should I do?

If you really did jump back in time, just find those old Bitcoin investments and you should be good! But seriously, check that battery first!

It sounds like your internal battery might be dead, which can cause these weird resets. It typically looks like a large watch battery on the motherboard. If you swap it out, it might solve your issues!

Are you sure about that? I've had similar issues but wasn't sure if it was the battery.

So you mean the desktop environment literally looks like it did years ago? Have you checked if there’s a restore point or system backup that might have gotten triggered? That might explain the strange behavior!

Yeah, it sounds like something might have rolled back in terms of files and settings!
