I've been feeling overwhelmed by constant context switching and Slack discussions lately. It feels like I've developed some OCD tendencies, as I find myself scrolling aimlessly through Slack channels without any real reason. Some days, I feel like I haven't accomplished anything, even though I had time to work. I'm really looking for tips on how to improve my focus and productivity. Any suggestions, even if they involve different tools, would be greatly appreciated!

One strategy that really helps is scheduling specific times to check your email and Slack. This way, you can set clear boundaries for availability. Outside of those times, I suggest being unavailable unless someone comes in person or gives you a call. It clears your mind a bit.

I actually block out about two hours in the middle of my day as 'unavailable,' which keeps interruptions at bay.

I find that I log in for the day, but I get interrupted right away and it feels like I’m stuck in that loop all day. It's frustrating!

My mornings start with coffee, and then it's straight into the chaos of the day! Honestly, it’s a mix of that and expecting interruptions, so I just try to roll with it.

I log in and check my schedule right away. If I see back-to-back meetings, I often feel like screaming into the void! It can be tough to stay productive when the calendar is loaded.

I hear you! Sometimes during those dull meetings, I sneak in some gaming like Battlefield 6 to keep myself entertained.
