I just replaced my old bulky case with a new Corsair ICUE 4000X RGB case. It came with three pre-installed fans in the front, but they don't seem to spin at all, even though their RGB lights are on. I've also added two additional Corsair RX series RGB fans on top and another fan for exhaust, which work perfectly.
The pre-installed fans are wired to a header, but it seems like this connection is only for the RGB lights. Do I need to connect the actual fan power cables to a specific fan header on my motherboard, like ASS_FAN1? I've done this before a few years back, but I can't quite remember the details.
Also, the header for the pre-installed fans has six connections; three are occupied, and three are open, but they don't accept the standard 4-pin fan cables. Any advice would be appreciated!

Yes, you definitely need to connect the 4-pin fan cables to the appropriate headers on your motherboard. The connection you showed in the picture is likely just for controlling the RGB lighting, not for powering the fans themselves.

Thanks for the advice! Just to clarify, I've already plugged one fan into ASST_FAN1 and the other two into CHA_FAN1 and CHA_FAN2, but only ASST_FAN1 is working. Is there a neater way to manage this, or should I just accept the visible cables?
