I'm really frustrated because my Acer laptop (model Swift SF315-52G) can't detect my home Ziggo Wi-Fi network. It used to connect without any issues, but lately, it seems to have lost the ability to find this specific network after a recent Windows update. Here are the details:

- My laptop can still see other Wi-Fi networks just fine.
- Other devices like my partner's laptop and our phones connect to Ziggo without problems.
- We've got a brand-new Ziggo router.
- I've already tried resetting the router, restarting, and even reinstalling my laptop, but nothing worked.
- I found that uninstalling a Windows update allowed me to connect again. However, after installing newer updates, the issue returned. I'm currently on Windows 11 24H2. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It's strange that your laptop connected to that Wi-Fi before. If your router settings show both 2.4 and 5 GHz, then it should be fine. Have you checked your laptop's Wi-Fi settings to see if it's stuck on a specific band? Sometimes a reset or adjusting those settings can help.

You might want to try downloading and installing the latest Wireless LAN driver for your laptop from Acer's support page. Sometimes, compatibility issues arise after updates. Also, check if your Ziggo Wi-Fi is set to 5 GHz only; if your laptop is currently only configured for 2.4 GHz, that could explain the connection issue. Region-specific Wi-Fi channels might also come into play here, so make sure everything is set up for the right region.
