I recently purchased a Patriot P320 SSD, but I'm having trouble getting it recognized in both Windows and the BIOS. I also have another Patriot NVMe SSD installed on my motherboard. The LED on the new SSD is green, and I've tried different M.2 slots, but no luck. I've also toggled settings like CSM and RAID, but I'm unsure if there's something else I should enable or disable. Should I return this SSD, or could it be an issue on my end?

Double-check whether your SSD is SATA or PCIe. I recently had a similar issue; my motherboard only supports PCIe M.2 drives and my old NVMe was SATA, so it didn’t show up in BIOS.
When you say it's not showing up in Windows, do you mean you don't see it in File Explorer or even in the Disk Management tool? It should ideally show up in BIOS first, so it’s good to check there too.
Nope, I can't find it at all—neither in File Explorer nor in Disk Management.
Wait, I thought all NVMe SSDs were PCIe? Can you clarify? I'm confused here.
I'm using the Asus B550M-PLUS.
What motherboard are you using? That can help figure this out since some SSDs require specific support.
