I've heard a lot about front-end development using languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, but my experience with these is limited to just a single tutorial on HTML and CSS. I've been advised to specialize in one language and master it, and while I do excel in Java, it often gets criticized online for being outdated and verbose. I'm interested in learning Spring and eventually creating a mobile app, but I'm uncertain about its career prospects compared to delving into front-end languages like JavaScript. So, I'm looking for advice on which direction to take: should I continue with Java, focusing on Spring, or should I branch out into JavaScript for front-end development? Are there any other options I might be overlooking? For your reference, I also have experience with x86 assembly, C#, C, and Maven.
