Does a website or app exist that converts design elements into code?

I recently had an idea for an app or website where users can build their websites visually—like dragging and dropping elements into place. Once finished, you could select an element, such as a heading with the text 'Welcome to my website!', and it would generate the corresponding HTML code, like '

Welcome to my website!

', along with the necessary CSS styles. I'm curious if something like this already exists. If so, what is it called?

There's a ton out there that could match your idea, but you might want to browse some popular design tools first. Just make sure to do some research! By the way, if you're looking for help, sites like Google can be useful.

Honestly, it might be easier just to learn to code instead. These drag-and-drop tools often have poor usability and don't really cut it for complex designs. I’ve had bad luck finding good ones.

There's actually a program called Dreamweaver that does this, but it's been around for almost 30 years! You might be a bit late to the party. But there are also many no-code website generators that can help with what you're envisioning, like Wix, although they've lost popularity recently for responsive design reasons.
