Why does my PC screen go black and restart during certain tasks?

I'm having an issue with my PC where the screen goes completely black and then shows the loading symbol, almost like it's restarting itself. This happens specifically when I'm using apps like YouTube and playing Teardown. It doesn't seem to be a performance problem since it only occurs during these tasks. Can anyone help me figure out what might be going on or how to fix it?

It sounds like your power supply unit (PSU) might be the culprit. If you're not seeing any error messages on the screen, it could indicate that the PSU is failing. When the PSU has issues, it can cause abrupt crashes without any warning, much like if you simply unplugged the computer. I'd recommend trying out a different PSU to see if that resolves the problem. It’s worth investigating!

Got it, thanks! By the way, what exactly is a PSU? Also, just to clarify, the PC isn’t completely turning off since the fans and lights stay on when this happens. The screen just goes black, then it restarts.
