Help with HDMI Port Issues on My New PC Build

I've been building my first PC recently, getting new components like a case, motherboard, CPU, and GPU, but I'm running into a frustrating issue. The HDMI ports just won't send any signal to my monitor, whether I use the motherboard or the GPU. I've checked the HDMI cable on other devices, and it works fine there. After a lot of effort, I finally got the PC to power on, but now I'm stuck again. I've watched a lot of YouTube videos, but nothing seems to help. I really want to get back to playing X-Com and Sims 4, but it's been months since I've been able to enjoy my games. Any ideas on what could be causing the HDMI ports to fail?

Can you share your parts list? It may help us diagnose the issue better. Knowing what motherboard and GPU you're working with could be key to solving this dilemma. Sometimes compatibility quirks can lead to situations like this.

Okay, I have an ASRock B450M R2.0 motherboard, an Apevia power supply, a Ryzen 4500 CPU, and a Gigabyte GPU. I’m still figuring out my RAM model but I know it’s compatible with the board. The case is a Cool Master micro ATX Tower. Hope that helps!

First off, are all the components powering up, like do the fans and lights turn on? That’s a good sign that everything got connected correctly. Have you tried moving around your RAM sticks or checking all the connections just to be sure? Sometimes a loose connection can cause issues like this. Just trying to narrow down the problem since HDMI issues can be tricky.

Yes, everything powers up just fine. I’ve been checking the wires and moving the RAM sticks around to see if it helps, but nada. I'm starting to run out of ideas.

You might want to double-check if the GPU is firmly seated in the PCIe slot. Sometimes, it can be a bit loose and not make the necessary connections.
