I recently got an XP-Pen display tablet and want to use it alongside my main monitor, but my computer only has one HDMI port. I'm not sure if the USB splitter I ordered will allow me to connect a second monitor. I've heard different things about using USB-C and HDMI hubs, but I'm feeling a bit lost. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If you're using a desktop PC, a straightforward solution is to buy a budget-friendly graphics card. Just install it, download the drivers, and you should be good to go!
First off, we need to know what type of computer you have. If it has a USB-C port, you could potentially use that to add an additional HDMI output. Just make sure your USB-C port supports video output!
Have you considered using a USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter? It's a great way to add an extra monitor without hassle, but just check if it’s compatible with your specific computer setup!
Does that USB adapter work with every kind of computer setup?
You might want to look into getting an HDMI hub, but keep in mind they can cost around 2k or so. Just do some research before you decide!
But aren't HDMI hubs not really effective for multiple displays?

I tried using my USB-C port, but it didn't work for me either. Do you have any other suggestions?
