The GPS signal seems to get lost or malfunction, particularly in the mornings and sometimes at night, though it works fine in the afternoons. This occurs with several navigation apps including Google Maps. Interestingly, my internet connection remains stable during these GPS outages, leading me to wonder what might be causing this problem. It sounds like a classic issue where physical obstructions could be the culprit. GPS signals come from satellites, so anything that blocks the signal, like tall buildings or heavy foliage, could affect it. Even if you’re in the city, your location at those times may be influencing the signal quality. Have you noticed whether it’s worse in specific areas?
I’ve been in both urban and suburban spots, and I’m not near any tunnels. It still drops out in areas that seem pretty open.
