Best CPU Upgrade for Gaming and Video Editing?

I'm looking to upgrade my CPU to enhance my performance for video editing and light gaming. Currently, I'm using a Ryzen 5 2600 with an Nvidia 4060 GPU and 24GB of RAM. My motherboard is a B550M K, but my current CPU doesn't support PCIe 4.0, even though my NVMe storage does. I mostly use software like Premiere Pro and After Effects, but I also play games like GTA V. What CPU would you recommend for my setup?

The 5700X3D is definitely a strong contender. If you can't find it, consider the 5800X3D too; both are excellent for multitasking. Just a heads up, though, the 5600X3D is a bit harder to get right now, so the 5700 would be your safest bet!

Yeah, I've heard that getting the 5600X3D can be tricky, so going for the 5700X3D sounds wise!

I recently upgraded from a Ryzen 5 2600 to a 5700X3D, and it has made a huge difference! My gameplay is way smoother, and I can handle both gaming and video editing without any bottlenecks. If you're looking for a solid upgrade, the 5700X3D is a great choice for around $300. Just make sure to keep your RAM in check too, as I had to bump mine up to 32GB to really see the improvement!
