Help! I Bricked My PC and Need to Factory Reset without a Working Mouse or Keyboard

Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a jam. I was trying to do a clean installation of Windows to fix some performance issues on my PC, which has Windows 11, an MSI B450 Tomahawk Max motherboard, a Radeon 6700XT graphics card, an AMD processor, and a Kingston SSD. Unfortunately, the reset failed, and now when I sign in, I get a message saying that the user sign-in service isn't available. To make matters worse, my mouse and keyboard aren't working when I boot into Windows recovery mode. I've heard that this issue cropped up after the latest Windows update, and I can't seem to revert it or find a way to factory reset without being able to use my keyboard and mouse. Is there any way to do a reset using just hardware button combinations? I'd really appreciate any help and hope I'm not judged too harshly for this situation!

If you have another PC around, you could use it to create a bootable USB drive with the latest Windows image. Once you load that onto a flash drive, you can try booting from it to cleanly wipe your system. Just be sure to grab the correct ISO and verify it's up to date!

And if you don’t have another PC, check if your local library has ones you can use for free. They often have computers available.

It’s strange that your keyboard and mouse aren’t working in recovery mode. If they’re wireless, maybe try switching to a USB connection. Do you have a wired keyboard or mouse you can temporarily use? That could help you get past this issue.
