BitLocker Recovery After CPU Replacement: Any Solutions?

I recently replaced my CPU, and now I'm facing a BitLocker prompt when trying to boot into Windows. Unfortunately, I'm unable to enter my recovery key for some reason. I was wondering if I could reinstall my old CPU, disable BitLocker (since I wasn't aware encryption was enabled), and then put my new CPU back in to properly boot up. Would that work? Thanks in advance!

Once BitLocker is triggered by any hardware change, like swapping CPUs, you're generally required to enter your recovery key to regain access. Reinstalling your old CPU might be worth a shot, but I wouldn't count on it fixing the issue. It’s more likely you’ll still need the recovery key to continue.

That's what I'm worried about! I do have my recovery key, but the input box won’t let me type in any characters. My keyboard is working fine outside of this situation, so it's pretty frustrating.
