Hey everyone! I'm currently running an i5-6500 with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 600W power supply, paired with an RX 580 4GB GPU. I'm considering upgrading to either the RX 9060 XT or the RTX 5060. I know there might be a significant CPU bottleneck with my setup, but I'm curious if either of these GPUs would actually work well and provide a noticeable performance boost compared to my current card.

You'd definitely see some significant performance improvements, but keep in mind that at 1080p, your CPU will bottleneck the experience pretty often. Just a heads up!
Honestly, it might be wiser to consider a used Vega 64 or a 5700 XT right now and save up for a full system upgrade later. That way, you can maximize your performance without hitting too hard on your budget.
Unfortunately, used GPUs aren't cheap where I live. I'm looking to upgrade the GPU now and tackle the CPU later, but I just want to know if the 9060 XT will be worth it in terms of performance.
The RX 9060 XT's 8GB version can struggle more due to the PCIe 3.0 interface compared to the 16GB version. There's a comparison video by Hardware Unboxed that goes into detail about this, so it's worth checking out.
Can you elaborate? I'm already thinking about getting the 16GB version!

I have a 144Hz 1080p monitor, so I was expecting that. I'm looking to future-proof my setup, possibly for a 1440p monitor in the future.
