I had my iPhone 13 stolen today, and unfortunately, the battery died, which means I can't use the 'Find My' app to track it. Are there any alternative methods to locate my stolen phone?

Going door-to-door might not be the safest option, but at the end of the day, if you didn't have 'Find My' activated, you're in a tough spot. Hopefully, you did have some kind of tracking set up before it was stolen.

Unfortunately, if the phone is out of power, there's not much you can do to locate it. You'll just need to wait until someone charges it up to get a signal again. Your only option right now is to mark it as lost and hope for the best, really.

That's not exactly true. Even when an iPhone is completely out of battery, it can still emit a signal for a short time after being turned off, but it seems the OP might not have it set up for tracking.

Honestly, if you didn't have 'Find My' activated beforehand, you're pretty much stuck. It's best to report it stolen and not attempt to hunt it down yourself. The police typically won't assist much unless there's solid evidence.

Just so we're clear, if they charge it up and it's connected to an eSIM, you might actually be able to track it again.
